[late summer, autumn] Kohao makes a couple “small scale” suicide attempts; takes a handful or so of aspirin or ibuprofen, gets sick but doesn’t die or get medical attention—he once again fails to register on his parents’ radar. Only tells Athena about it a day or so after each attempt. 「🔗」
[late autumn/ early winter] Athena begins slipping into disordered eating behaviors
[December] Chey gets picked up by cops; Anarchy is left alone
2011:

Chey bounces from foster home to foster home as he gets kicked out for misbehavior; during this time he gets hospitalized on multiple occasions for quasi-attempted suicide
2012:
Gabriel and Athena strike up a casual friendship/acquaintanceship at school
Kohao starts camming casually
Sethfire starts drinking, not super heavily, but definitely self-medicating
Anarchy starts working “odd jobs,” mostly physical labour; has trouble finding steady/long-term employment because of his appearance + history
Kohao hooks up with a local cam-viewer; finds the experience somehow compelling
[summer] Kohao takes up going to bars & sleeping around
Kohao starts occasionally using cocaine after one of his bar hook-ups introduces him to it
Chey “graduates” out of the foster care system, slips right back into prostitution and heroin use
Chey gets his first possession charge (CPCS in the 7th degree), gets fined & and spends 12 days in jail
Aetos realizes he’s gay and begins self-harming
2013:

Sethfire completes his Master’s degree (M.S. Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness) and starts working towards his 3000 hour requirement for supervised experience

[December] Chey, after spending the year in and out of jail for various things, manages to get his third CPCS 7 conviction along with CPSP in the 5th degree; he dodges getting charged with intent to distribute and they can’t prove a larceny charge either, but he still gets a hefty fine and 3 months in prison
2014:
Athena and Gabriel reconnect; introduction to Nightshrike | Birds of a Feather 「🔗」

Anarchy gets his wing tattoo at Cinnabar Ink, leading to EoI’s introduction to Fawkes | Brothers in Arms 「🔗」

Athena starts working as a personal trainer
Anarchy is able to get off methadone
[Marchish, after getting out of jail] Chey finds the youth outreach program, recovery begins
Also gets his HIV diagnosis & begins antiretroviral therapy
At this stage, even after starting methadone he continues self-medicating with other drugs; primarily MDMA and codeine, though he dabbles in almost anything he comes across
Chey meets/befriends Sylvie & Jett while employed as a dancer
Chey relapses, his “first strike”
Chey manages to get his GED with guidance from his program but feels it’s essentially useless and keeps dancing rather than seeking other work
2015:
[January] Athena, Kohao, and Anarchy get their own apartment
[April] Sethfire relapses hard after an evening of stress-drinking and nicks his radial artery near his inner elbow; Jazz gets him to the hospital「🔗」
[spring] Anarchy starts dating Anjali | Running Straight「🔗」
[June] Anarchy gets a job as a bartender at The Aspen
[July] Athena meets Wendy at the gym; they go out for drinks and strike up some sort of “relationship”
[late summer] Anarchy & Anjali break up but stay on good terms; Afterwards, Anarchy and Kohao drunkenly hook up + start a friends-with-benefits relationship | Redirection 「🔗」
[October] Sethfire gives up on fulfilling his hour requirement, at least as far as direct contact with clients goes, as his mental health deteriorates + alcoholism progresses
Shortly after that decision, one night he gets very drunk again and attempts to gut himself. Ends up calling Jazz, who gets him medical attention.
[December] Aetos is thrown out of the house by his parents over his gender and is subsequently rescued by the others before he can jump off the George Washington Bridge | All the Risk of Faith and Free-fall「🔗」
2016:
Aetos enrolls in a public school and manages to get things sorted due to the help of an exceedingly kind + sympathetic school counselor and McKinney-Vento liaison
Inspired by it, Aetos starts trying to persuade Seth to pursue his licensing requirements again; in investigating the possibilities, he finds that Seth does have enough direct hours to combine with his indirect that he can, in fact, be licensed
Aetos is able to start HRT
Athena and Wendy’s “relationship” fizzles out
Aetos gets a job as a busboy or barista
Kohao and Kat start hooking up, nothing “serious”
"Suburban Casualties", EoI's third album, comes out
Chey reconnects with Alaska by chance while they’re both at a food stamps office
Chey relapses again, his “second strike”
Alaska subsequently asks him to stay with her, Reggie, and Nathaniel for a bit to try and stabilize himself
With Alaska’s encouragement, Chey dedicates himself to recovery more intensely and actually starts working towards an accelerated online associate’s degree, supported by his program
2017:
Aetos gets his high school diploma
Aetos gets top surgery
Aetos gets his own apartment to avoid “crowding” Seth
Aetos starts college for a degree in education at CUNY Queens
